
Tickets for the Thomians’ Nite 2018 the colorful Annual Get Together and the Dinner Dance organized by Colombo Branch of Matale Old Thomians’ Association (MOTA Colombo) were launched last week with the selling of first set of tickets to prominent past students of St. Thomas’ College Matale. Mr. Lakshman Silva the CEO of DFCC who is a proud product of the College bought the first ticket followed by Mr. P. K. Nawarathane – Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, Mr. Sanjeewa Nawarathane – Director/Founder of Latex Lanka International, Mr. Sudesh Nandasiri Group CEO/Founder of Ceylon Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd and popular celebrities of the country produced by the school Mr. Athula Pathirana and Mr. Hemal Ranasinghe. The event will be held on 13th of October this year at Liberty Ball Room, Hotel Ramada, Colombo 3 from 7 pm onwards with the participation of many Thomians from all around the world.
Launching the tickets Mr. Lalith Karunadasa the President of MOTA Colombo told “This year’s Thomians’ Nite is dedicated to the 145th Anniversary of our alma mater and we will elevate the event to another grand level by introducing many colourful and memorable items”. Branded as the most entertaining night organized by the School over the years, Thomians’ Nite 2018 will be entertained by the ‘Men in Black’ sphere headed by Kenneth De Silva who himself too is an old Thomian. Packed with dancing’s, DJ’s, competitions and fun events TN2018 is a great platform to meet Thomians’ young and old. The event is also popular among the families as it is open for families and friends of the Thomians as well. Mr. Lakshman Senevirathne the Secretary to MOTA Colombo and key members of the Executive Committee also participated for this occasion.
